This year marks 102 years since we first started trading as 'Rag Merchants' in the heart of East London. Mr "Jack" Ratzker (along with his trusty horse Hercules!) established his name in the industry in 1920 and the business has remained in the family ever since.
The business remains a rag merchants at it's core, but has also grown and developed in ways Jack would have only dreamed of!
From Horse & Cart to a large-scale textile manufacturing facility, from a few bags of old local textiles to diverting thousands of tonnes of textile waste from landfill every year across the UK.
We are incredibly proud of where we've come from compared to where we are now, and we owe much of that success to the customers we've met along the way. We firmly believe that a Company makes a customer, not a sale, and we strive to treat every customer who puts their trust in our services and products as one of the family. Every customer is guaranteed a personal experience and never a 'one size fits all' approach.
