♻️ From Landfill to Second Life

Did you know that a staggering 85% of textiles become landfill waste every year? That's over 92 million tonnes globally—and a tremendous portion of that is from used clothing, cleaning rags, and work uniforms that could have been recycled, reused, or re-purposed.

At Coppermill Ltd, we’re on a mission to change that.

🚨 The Problem: Textile Waste Is Out of Control

Every day, tons of clothing and fabric products are being thrown away. What people do not realize is that:

Most
fabrics are biodegradable, especially synthetic fibers like polyester.

When deposited in a landfill, these products will take years to break down, releasing toxic greenhouse gases like methane.

Work uniforms, work clothes, and cleaning rags—often made of tough blends—are particularly unforgiving on the environment when they are thrown away.

Much of this waste could still have a purpose. That’s where we come in.

♻️ The Solution: Giving Textiles a Second Chance

At Coppermill Ltd, we collect used textiles from businesses and individuals—everything from worn-out uniforms and overalls to Ex-hotel bedding and towels.

Instead of going to landfill, we:

✅ Cut them down into reusable sized cleaning cloths
Perfect for garages, workshops, factories, and janitorial use.

✅ Sort and resell wearable items
Some items still have life left in them!

🌍 The Impact: Less Waste, More Good

Every bag of textiles we divert from landfill means:

  • Fewer greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere

  • Less strain on landfills, which are already overflowing
